Coors Western Art Show and Sale

SOLD
It's that time of year again! The Coors Western Art Show & Sale is coming up and after many, many hours of preparation, this drawing is hanging at the show right now just waiting for opening night. I have a total of 5 drawings again this year, but two of which will be part of the silent auction during the Red Carpet Reception and won't be shown if they sell that night.

This drawing is called "Running on the Open Range" is 21 3/4 x 27 $8,900.00 and was my favorite of all the drawings to do because it was a little different for me. I feel like the horse in the middle looks like it could jump out of the page and the composition is something I worked hard on to achieve that feeling.

Legacy Gallery

I have recently joined Legacy Gallery which has locations in Scottsdale, AZ and Jackson, WY and am excited to work with them. They have a 4 originals right now at the Scottsdale location(http://www.legacygallery.com/) with the largest being the one above and appears in an ad with Legacy in Art of the West (Jan/Feb 2011 issue). Art of the West did a feature called "Pencil Passion" and highlights the work of 6 pencil artists from around the west. The article has three images of mine, which are all sold, but the drawing above is called "Ready to Go" and is available at the gallery for $7,300.00
